Today is a modular feed built around your daily Rhythm Brief, Body Readiness, Dream Score, and next-step cards. The written brief is AI-composed from deterministic timing and measured context, and the rest of Today still renders while the brief is loading.
Your profile combines chronotype, archetype, focus areas, and deeper identity notes from birth date, optional birth time, location, and light-cycle context. Temperament and Mindframe add a living layer that becomes richer as you use the app.
With Apple Health access, Dreamline uses sleep, HRV, and resting heart rate to calculate a deterministic Body Readiness score and trends. Raw HealthKit values stay on-device; only derived metrics and summaries sync.
Connections brings Dream Sync, Body Sync, Circles, invites, and compatibility surfaces into one place. Friends see derived motifs and resonance scores when both people opt in; raw dream text and raw Health data stay private.
Sleep Guard uses Apple Watch heart rate, HRV, and motion changes to detect nighttime disturbance and deliver graded haptics. It is designed for sleep support and nighttime monitoring, not as medical care.

How We Calculate
Dreamline uses birth date, optional birth time, and location to estimate season, photoperiod, and timing bands. A fixed mapping turns those inputs into chronotype, archetype, focus areas, and recommended sleep-window guidance.
Body Readiness is a deterministic score built from Apple Health sleep, HRV, and resting heart rate. Current weighting is HRV 40%, sleep 40%, and resting heart rate 20% when data is available. When data is partial, Dreamline explains what is missing instead of pretending the score is complete.
Dreamline first extracts structure and symbols locally on-device. If you opt in to AI, dream text and selected context are sent to our backend for one Dream Analysis request per dream. Deterministic features like Dream Score, Body Readiness, Chronotype, and Temperament are not AI-computed.
The Rhythm Brief combines deterministic timing context with measured signals such as Body Readiness, Temperament, and recent dream carryover when available. AI writes the narrative, but the underlying inputs are fixed before generation.
Sleep Guard runs on Apple Watch and looks for a three-signal gate: heart-rate elevation, HRV drop, and motion disturbance. When that pattern is met, it delivers graded haptics and tracks the event for later review. Sleep Guard is not a medical device.
Dream Sync compares shared motifs such as symbols, themes, tone, and vividness. Body Sync compares derived signals such as HRV, resting heart rate, and sleep efficiency. Scores appear only when both people have enough overlap, and raw Health data is never shared.
Raw HealthKit data stays on-device. Dreams, saved Dream Analysis results, profile inputs, derived metrics, and opt-in Connections settings are stored under your authenticated account. AI features require consent, and you can delete your account from Settings.
