What Dreamline means by measured vs inferred vs written illustration.

Measured

Measured means direct inputs such as sleep-related device context, timing data, or scores Dreamline calculates directly.

Measured does not mean perfect certainty. It means the source is clear.

Inferred

Inferred means Dreamline noticed a pattern from repeated inputs, identity structure, or longer-term context.

That can be useful because a person’s life is bigger than any one data point, but it should still stay separate from direct measurement.

Written

Written means narrative reflection or generated explanation. It can be personally useful without pretending to be the same thing as a score, a measurement, or a raw input stream.

Dreamline keeps these categories separate because the moment a written explanation starts pretending to be a medical reading or a hard fact, the trust is gone.
